CONDITIONS OF USE

Please read these terms of use carefully before using this site.

Unless otherwise stated, all information contained on this website including images, illustrations, graphics, photographs, videos, texts, icons, drawings and writings and any other material (hereinafter globally and collectively referred to as “Contents”) are copyrights, trademarks, distinctive signs or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or authorized by IKOS S.r.l or they belong to their respective owners and are protected by copyright laws.

ACCESS TO THE SITE

Access to the sites https://www.pivac22.it and http://www.ikosfad.it is subject to current legislation, with reference to copyright and the conditions indicated below as “Terms of use”.

USER REGISTRATION

By registering to the PIVAC22 meeting, participants agree that neither the organising committee nor the conference secretariat assume any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. The conference fee does not include insurance

• IKOS S.r.l. reserves the right to ask for a fee for all or for some of its services. The user has the right to withdraw, with or without incurring in fees according to what is specified for each product.

• During the registration procedure, the user will indicate and confirm the Username and Password that will allow him to access the service. The use of the Password is personal and cannot be shared with others. Any non-compliant use is strictly prohibited.

• IKOS S.r.l commits to keep personal data with the utmost confidentiality and diligence and guarantees that the security measures provided for by Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments are fully adopted. For information relating to personal data collection and processing, please refer to the privacy policy.

o The connection implies the correct configuration of the user’s computer and the installation of a suitable Internet Browser.

o Internet connection ‘s costs and charges are the user’s responsability.

• Registration allows the user to receive information from IKOS S.r.l such as:

• reports of technical problems concerning the services used by the user (in this case, the communications are considered integral parts of the service offered and therefore cannot be refused by the user);

• sending of informative and promotional material on new initiatives of IKOS S.r.l. or of companies, associations, third parties. However, it is guaranteed that the users’ personal data will not be transferred or disclosed to third parties in any way.

• With respect to their data, the user can read and modify the information already forwarded in accordance with the Privacy Law Legislative Decree 196/2003.

DATA AND COOKIES

The computer systems used to operate this site acquire, during normal navigation, some personal data whose transmission is connected to the use of Internet communication protocols (IP addresses, domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server, etc.) and other operating system parameters as well as the user’s computer environment.

USER ACCOUNT: ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION

Some contents of the site https://www.pivac22.it and http://www.ikosfad.it are reserved for registered users.

The user is responsible for any activity carried out through the use of his password or account. Consequently, it undertakes to promptly communicate to IKOS S.r.l. any unauthorized use of the password or username, any loss or misplacement of login details, any violation of the security rules of which it becomes aware. The User acknowledges and accepts that IKOS S.r.l. exercises, at its sole discretion, the right to deactivate passwords and accounts, remove content and anything else deemed necessary, if it believes that the user has violated or acted in a manner that is contrary to the spirit or paradigm of these conditions. IKOS S.r.l. reserves the exclusive and discretionary right to interrupt or suspend the provision of the service even without notice. The user agrees that any suspension or interruption of his access to the service, can also occurs without notice.

CHANGES TO THE CONDITIONS

In the event that changes are made to these conditions of use, the modified version will be contained on this site. To this end, we kindly ask you to carry out a periodic check of what is published on the website itself.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IKOS S.r.l. is not responsible for damages, claims or losses, direct or indirect, experienced by the user that are due to the failure and/or defective functioning of electronic equipment of the user himself or of third parties, including internet service providers, telephone and/or telematic connections not managed by IKOS Srl.

Any communication between the parties must be in writing both by ordinary mail and by e-mail, unless otherwise indicated.
